New composite deck with aluminum railing and steps on a Tulsa, Oklahoma home

Deck Builders in Tulsa and Northeastern Oklahoma

A Deck Built to Last, Not Just to Look Good the First Summer

A deck takes more weather and more daily use than any other part of your home. Full sun, hail, wind, and Oklahoma's freeze-thaw swings all work on it. We build with capped composite and PVC decking, which skip the regular staining and sealing that wood decks need.

Every deck is built by certified installers on a frame designed for the height and size you choose, with permits, rail, and steps included in the price. You get a written estimate that spells out what is and is not included, including demolition of an old deck, which we quote separately.

Deck Building Services in Tulsa, OK

Deck Replacement, Repair, Pergolas & Patios

From a first deck to a worn-out one that needs to come down, we build and rebuild outdoor living space across the Tulsa metro.

New Decks

Built to your size, height, and layout, with aluminum or vinyl rail and steps. Ground level up to second-story height.

Replacement Decks

The old deck comes out and a new one goes up on new footings and framing, so you are not putting new boards on a tired structure.

Re-Skins

New decking and rail over a frame that is still sound. It costs less than a rebuild, but only if the footings and framing pass inspection.

Stairs and Rails

New stairs, aluminum or vinyl rail, and updates to an existing deck whose stairs or rail are worn or unsafe.

Pergolas and Gazebos

Shade and a covered place to sit, built to match your deck or to stand on its own in the yard.

Concrete Patios

Poured concrete patios for a flat, ground-level outdoor space with no steps or rail.

Composite vs PVC Decking

Which Decking Is Right for Your Deck?

Both are low-maintenance and both beat wood on upkeep, so the real choice is how much you want to pay for the last bit of stain and mold resistance. Here is the side-by-side from our pricing.

Capped compositePVC (AZEK)
Made of Wood fiber and plastic with a protective cap Plastic only, with no wood fiber
Upkeep No staining, sealing, or sanding. Wash it. The same. Wash it.
Stains and mold The cap resists both Manufacturers rate PVC the most resistant, since there is no wood fiber in the board
Price in our chart Entry tier starts at $10,600 About $1,100 to $2,100 more at the same size and height
Our take The right pick for most homes Worth it if you want the lowest-maintenance surface and the top-of-line look

One practical tip for Oklahoma summers: dark boards in full sun get hot underfoot in any material. On a south or west facing deck, we steer toward lighter colors.

The Structure Under the Boards

A deck is only as good as its footings, frame, and the connection to your house. This is the structure we build, by deck height.

Deck Building FAQs for Tulsa Homeowners

Answers to Common Deck Questions

What decking materials do you build with?
We build with capped composite and PVC decking. Composite comes in three tiers, Terrain, Reserve, and Legacy, and PVC comes in AZEK Reserve and AZEK Vintage. All of them skip the staining and sealing that wood needs, and our composite decks include hidden fasteners and matching fascia.
How much does a deck cost in Tulsa?
A basic deck with rail runs about $10,600 to $16,100 installed, depending on size, height, and material. Permits, rail, decking, and one set of steps are included. Removing an old deck, taller or custom layouts, pergolas, and patios are quoted at your free estimate.
Do your deck prices include permits?
Yes. Our deck prices include permits, aluminum or vinyl rail, the decking, and one set of steps. Composite decks also include hidden fasteners and matching fascia. Demolition and removal of an existing deck is not included, and we quote it separately so you can see exactly what it costs.
What is the difference between a deck replacement and a re-skin?
A replacement removes the old deck and rebuilds it on new footings and framing. A re-skin keeps your existing frame and replaces the decking and rail on top. Re-skinning costs less, but only works when the footings, ledger, and framing are sound. We check that at your estimate and tell you which one makes sense.
Should I choose composite or PVC decking?
Capped composite is the right choice for most homes and starts lower. PVC costs about $1,100 to $2,100 more at the same size in our chart and gives the most stain and mold resistance. Either one beats wood on upkeep. Dark boards get hot in full sun in any material, so consider a lighter color for a sunny deck.
Do you build pergolas, gazebos, and concrete patios?
Yes. Along with decks, we build pergolas, gazebos, stairs, rails, and concrete patios. These are priced per project instead of from a chart, so we measure, talk through what you want, and give you a written price at the free estimate.
Can you build a taller second-story deck or an unusual layout?
Yes. Our price chart covers basic decks up to 8 feet off the ground. Taller second-story decks, multi-level layouts, and odd shapes are priced after we see the site, because the footings, framing, and stairs change with the design.
